Due to the location, the fantastic vibe we’ve personally enjoyed on several stays, amenities, and great reviews, this is one of the best pet-friendly hotels in Calgary and our top pick for Calgary pet-friendly hotels.

Hotel Arts – Top Pick

Offering a chic outdoor pool complete with a retractable roof, you can also find spa services, complimentary bike rentals, and valet parking (underground self-parking is also available). At Calgary Hotel Arts, you can also indulge in fine dining at the on-site restaurant Yellow Door Bistro and Raw Bar.

Close to the airport (only a five-minute drive) and only 12 km from Cross Iron Mills mall, Wingate by Wyndham Calgary Aiport offers free parking to guests during their stay as well as a tasty continental hot breakfast. For those travelling to another destination, there is a free shuttle to the airport that runs every 30 minutes 24/7, and parking at the hotel is only $5 a day or $30 a week. Also, take advantage of the indoor pool and fitness centre during your stay.

However, booking availability for pet-friendly rooms is limited to specific rooms, so inquire upon booking to avoid disappointment. A continental breakfast is provided in the morning for guests and a shared lounge/TV public area for those looking to socialize. There is also a seasonal saltwater outdoor pool for those travelling during the summer months to enjoy. Parking at this hotel is free, and a guest launderette is available on-site.

Don’t Forget

Most hotels allow pets in specific hotel rooms with additional booking fees, however, due to health regulations, pets are not allowed in public areas where food is served, nor the fitness centres or pools. The exception to pet fees is guide dogs or service animals, which are welcome at no charge.

It is normal for pet-friendly hotels in Calgary to request that pets are supervised at all times. If left in the room unattended, the animal must be in a kennel.
